Why? Krstic is nowhere near ready to be a force. Frank in particular made it clear that this is going to be a long slow process. Their exhorbitant praise of Magloire is another signal that they will need him to fill in the gap. In addition, the enthusiasm for the bench is very muted. Stefanski worries about whether Nachbar and Wright can improve, because they have to. I do read the Krstic comments similarly, though. He will be brought along slowly, and Magloire will pick up most of the slack. Iinterpreted the chemistry comments as a way to avoid making excuses for last year's record (all the personal, off-court stuff).

this means the nets can sign krstic for $6M/yr instead of $10M then twin will accept a minimum deal after next year...we'll have a starting/backup center combo for $7M per

Boy from optimism to pessimism at least from Stefanski's perspective. Hope Krstic proves them wrong in camp. Another year of Collins starting, geez. Chemistry ahs a lot to do with what the coach is doing in terms of X's and O's is he putting players in areas of strengths? No, you let VC pound the rock, you should sit Kidd....meaning you sit Kidd in the 4th quarter. It's the coach's job to find the right chemistry, it's a weak excuse for losing.
