But I just realized that the Bulls have the Knicks 2006 1st round picks. Currently the Knicks have the 2nd worst record in the league, which means the Bulls could have a top 4 pick and also where ever their pick lands up, which looks to be top 10 right now. Who should the Bulls go after? Should they trade one of the picks? Guys like Rudy Gay, Adam Morrison, Lemarcus Aldridge could be available to the Bulls, which would be SICK. I think if the Bulls were to keep the pick, Lemarcus is the obvious choice here. However, I would be in favor of the Bulls moving it. Packaging two top 10 picks and someone like Deng or Gordon could get the Bulls an allstar type player. I'm excited to see what happens.
Two top 10 picks + deng is a possibility, but not Gordon. You guys need him. Two top 10s + deng = $9 million+ type player, but there is a unlogical thing about your assumption. No team in the NBA except the knicks(isiah thomas) will send you and allstar player, but instead will send you two decent players for that package.
we started 0-9 last remember that, pshh only 7 games, i'm serious too. after the nice long all star break we'll be ready, and if we had to, i'd get rid of gordon, luol has been playing well, the guards havent been doing their part, mainly gordon and hienrich, but gordon is the obvious choice.
I think the Bulls actually have the option to take the 2006 or 2007 UNprotected selection from the Knicks. Next year's draft doesn't really have a sure thing superstar, but 2007 will have Greg Oden headlining the draft class. If I were the Bulls I'd role the dice and hope the Knicks stink again next season in hopes of landing Oden in the draft lottery. I just don't see the Knicks drastically improving next year either, because of all the problems, overpaid salaries, and lack of talent. I also like the suggestion of packaging some of the players and picks for a bonafide superstar. I know the Bulls have targeted KG for quite some time. If the TWolves start losing maybe some of the KG chatter starts up again.

There have already been articles published speculating who the Bulls will draft with the pick. Not to mention if they don’t take it this year and draft a guy like LaMarcus Aldridge they are taking a huge gamble considering Larry Brown has never had more than one losing season with a team. I would not trade those two picks for an all star. Two top ten picks, and the development of our own players. As well as the money we can spend in free agency put together should be more than enough to get us back in the playoffs. If we can get Alridge with the Knicks pick and maybe a guy like LaMarcus Aldridge and Ronnie Brewer, a big versatile guard, as well as a all American big man, we will be in good shape going into next year. In free agency we could sign a guy like Al Harrington, Peja (I don’t want him it’s a rumor though), Nazr Muhammad, etc. Adding all those players to our already talented squad would put us back in playoff contention no question about it. As everyone has learned the last couple of years once you get in the playoffs anything can happen.

It's kind of early for this kind of thread. Last year the Suns were thinking the same thing when the Bulls went 0-9. Despite the Knicks' record, they are 3.5 games out of 8th place. But if things are still looking like this for them by April, I'll say go ahead and take LeMarcus Aldridge. Since the Curry trade, the Bulls have been missing a solid low post presence. With Aldridge (kind of reminds me of Chris Bosh), the Bulls get a solid post presence and help for Chandler upfront. I say stay away from Rudy Gay. Luol Deng should be the swingman of the future for this team.
