The issue with Thornton is will he okay a trade. If he does I think we have a real shot.

I agree. I think those two would do well together. I would welcome us getting him, just don't know if he will get traded.

I have a feeling too something might be going down with Thornton, they just added Matt Hunwick on D so maybe they're adding depth to trade Staal as part of a deal?

Another disaster. Another dubi trade that is going to end up with the guy forgetting how to play hockey. Please just sign Brassard and forget about Thorton. He is old. Finally we play fast and now we trading for another turtle.

this is the reason why this team always takes a step foward then a step back, this is just like the brad richards signing, we all needed a center, so we just went to get a old shitty one, thorton makes too much money, hes 34, why would we trade brassard who is great already and going to be better, i dont know its dumb to be honest...... i mean if the trade including a pick and jt miller or something ok, but why trade stepan, brassard, and accomplished players in our system.

Here is the bottom line, we have too many dmen, and not enough good proven forwards. So some move is coming I think, even if it isn't for Thornton. I have to think we add a C somehow.

They are gobblin up all these fringe D men....U may be right that
Staal will be traded.....for a top C. Sather continues to juggle players.
He makes me nervous. I'm convinced he's lost it. Tanner Glass?
he thinks is better than Boyle. Yeah right....jughead. LOL
