Something has bugged me for a quite a while and I could never put a finger on it, but I finally have. When you go to the NBA forums, it has links to the Eastern and Western Conference, and in there, it has links to the separate divisions in the conferences. Instead of having all the different links, I think it would be a lot easier to navigate the forums if it was set up sort of like other basketball forums. An example is how JBB used to look like. They had one forum page, and in it, it had a section for General NBA Talk, a Draft section, and then team forums, all on one page. That way, it was a lot easier to navigate the forums. Personally, I think it is sort of a hassell to have to navigate through each conference, and then each and every division just to get to a team forum. You can still separate the NBA forum into different divisions, for an example, the Eastern Conference could be separated from the Western Conference, and under the conference you could divide it into the divisional conferences with all the team forums. That way, I think people would have an easier time viewing different threads and posting in the team forums they usually may not have interest in. Also, I think the same could be said for the NFL and MLB forums
We've talked about a couple of different options regarding that. One thing is that a skin is being worked on that will have drop down menus like the previous version of S2 so that will make for quicker access to team forums. Last I hear, that skin is still a few weeks off. Another thing to note is that the subforum names are clickable links. So if you click on the forums blue button on the left, all you have to do is click on Western Conference under NBA and then click on Lakers under Pacific Division to get to the Lakers forum.
Yeah but wouldn't it be easier to have all the team forums viewable on one page, instead of having to click through so many links? That way people would be more aware of the news and posts on the different team forums. For an example, the only way I would know ever look into an Indiana Pacers forum was if a post in that forum was shown on the home page, otherwise, I wouldn't bother clicking through all the conferences and divisions just to view the team. If you have all the forums shown on one page, people would be more aware of the news and posts on teams they may not be so interested in. It's just a suggestion though, you guys don't have to do it if you guys don't like it.

We appreciate the suggestion and it is something that is under consideration. One of the challenges that we have is that there are so many different ways the information can be presented and accessed. As an example, we have this standings view of the NBA forums, but it isn't the most obvious place to go. Another example is that I pretty much live by the View New Posts button at the top while I know others that just bookmark their favorite team forum and start there. Keep the suggestions coming and we'll get there.
The problem is that we'd then probably have to do the same for the NFL, and then have it for major European clubs in soccer etc etc. It will lead on to a huge page in the end.

It's much easier to see the other team forums that way and see all the posts
At the top of the home page, there's a link to NBA forums, which is the full standings. I'm not sure what you're asking for, Brian. As Chingy wrote, if we listed all the teams out on the forums index page, it'd be enormously long (and take a long time to load).
