the last time i posted on here a week or two ago i was rippin on LA for being soft. the last couple games i think he has been playing great inside(where did that left hand come from?) and much better on D and the boards. just curious to what you guys think
I think Lamarcus plays solid for about one quarter of each game. Then he dissapears. It's a mystery, because he will play good for that one quarter. Like often times, he will get 16 points in a quarter, and then two quarters later, he will have 18 or 20 points total, and that one or two buckets, will be something like a fast break. It's fricking nuts. When Roy was here, often he took over the scoring load in those other quarters. But really that is still no explanation. The offense should always mix it up to keep defenses honest, and when you have something that works, you should go to it until your opponent shows they can stop it. There is nothing worse, than when the team, stops itself.
LA is going to not change as a player. I like what he brings and accept that he is not a banger down low like STAT!
did you guys watch the game last night? that was the worst display of entry passes into the post i have ever seen...maybe its not always LA's fault. i bet if you looked up his points int he paint the last 3 or 4 games it would be much higher then the rest of the season.(im to lazy to do that) what im saying is....if he can play like that and rebound the way he has been when we are fully healthy it could be the kinda play we have been looking for from aldridge. 4 steals last night? hes been blocking shots to...
Yes it does, he is and will never be your #1 guy. It is OK for him to float with BRoy and Greg and other options on the court. Obviously we are not in that position and we need him to step up. We paid a lot of cash to him but in todays league that's the way things are. Your never gonna get 25 and 12 from him on a night in and night out basis.
I think LMA is playing 'OK', not great, not dominant, but just 'OK'. He reminds a little of a quarterback who can throw the ball between the twenties, but when backed up into his own end zone or driving into the opponent's he doesn't quite have that 'it' factor to get it done. I guess I kind of see him like Rashard Lewis without the 3 point shot at this point -- not a bad guy to have, but probably not the centerpiece of your team either.
Honestly, if the dude is going to float out to the perimeter again and again I would really prefer he take more threes. He specializes in the least efficient shot in nba basketball.
