He doesn't take this game seriously, he tries to be too flashy, he constantly jacks up 27 footers. He has no class. I know he's trying to have fun, but he's more than crossing the line. I don't see a love for the game at all in him. He's just trying to please the crowd and get some popularity. No respect.*Waits for the attacks to come..

I haven't ever really watched Carter but I just got done watching the Nets/Celtics and he played pretty well. I even saw him playing point for a short period. Now that doesn't mean he loves the game but I sure think he puts his heart into more than you think. Not hating just what I think.

He had 13 points, and shot 1-7 from 3 point land. I wouldnt call that "pretty good"

I like his game when he's not being a <Censored> and is attacking the rim. He's trying to play like Tmac and jack up 3's, somebody should tell him to stop.I lost all respect for him when he admitted he didn't give 100% in toronto.

T-Mac didn't the last year in Orlando, many players aren't now (hell, KG ain't even playing period!) and many players don't throughout the year.I love VC. he is not a superstar, but is an amazing talent, and does try hard on the floor when the game counts. I watch almost every NJ Nets game, and trust me, he does try. When he is on fire he is just like T-Mac and Kobe....unstoppable jumpshot and fouled when gets to rim.

He was going for a fadeaway jumper and he tried to kick out his legs and make him fall to the ground..This happened a couple times, too..As a Nets fan I do get bothered by his deep threes, but the fact is he makes them, and as long as he mixes them up with aggresive drives to the basket it doesnt matter to me. Hes a very relaxed guy who enjoys playing the game and the team in general is playing very loose with nothing to play for..I dont care that he plays this way now because it means nothign, but I dont want him to do it in the playoffs..One thing about that game..Whats with Gerald Green and his headband??

I remember when he said Kobe's 81 was setting a bad reputation for the kids, then made a commercial in which he said, "My old coach used to say, 'two points is two points', my old coach couldn't dunk".

I also have no respect for Vince Carter. I used to not mind him until he basically faked injuries to get out of Toronto. That obviously shows no class, love for the game, or leadership, it shows greed. He tries to be too flashy and show off to get fans to like him, when really he is overrated. He always throws up threes that he rarely ever makes. When he is driving to the whole he is a great talent, but he always settles for a jumper. He needs some discipline, he is like ?Melo before Karl came along, once Karl came, he showed ?Melo discipline and now he doesn't settle for a jumper (most of the time). It makes me dislike him more even when he comes out with commercials saying, "My old coach said 2 points is 2 points. My old coach couldn't dunk." That just comes to show you that he only cares about looks.

Kg has a reason not to try 100% because he's been loyal to the franchise for 11 years and they have done nothing for him. Tmac i remember said " it's finally good to play for a real team" in his fist game for the rockets. It must run through the family.

He is the best player on the Nets but I guess people still don't like him from his days in Toronto.

Vince is flashy. That's part of his game and why so many people like him. Sells games but he also brings the talent to back it up. Sure he takes alot of weird shots but he still nails some of them too.BTW, anyone see that Cliff Robinson block on Gerald Green? :HAHAHA:
