Run n' gun is fun, slow and boring wins championships ... but it'll be nice to be able to have that Jekyll and Hyde split between the bench and the starters.

For sure, I was just jesting (hence, the winky), but darn if I'm not anticipating the likes of Rudy, Batum, and (eventually) Bayless coming into the game. Shoot, even Sergio at times.

Surge really fits well on that unit, Rudy really has seemed to make Sergio a lot more confident

The Serge is the key to Victory.

The 2nd unit played too well in the first half, so Sarge had to limit their minutes in the second half in order to insure a loss... Great coaching.

Once Travis and Joel get moved to the 2nd group, they'll be a much better unit. Sergio, Rudy, TO, Frye and Joel are a 30 win team in this league.

Hey Max, I agree, one thing I have been surprised by "so far" it that TO and Batum on the floor together seem to work well, they are both so atlhetic and long and Batum plays the D and TO does the offense and they can run like crazy - I love Batum on the break!

I still like the first unit much better- but I enjoy watching Rudy and Batum- one of them should be first unit, I think.

All of this also makes me wonder how things are going to have to change once Oden and Webster come back. That means two players are going to have to see a significant loss in time. Also, that pushes Bayless even farther back in the rotation. While I really like our players, we'll need to thin out the roster some how.

I'm thinking that Blake and Ike are expendable longterm. And i would give up Outlaw in a good trade.

the big question is Frye... can we keep him for a reasonable amount?

Well obviously, our 2nd unit was playing against Phoenix's 2nd unit. We played very well, but once Nash and Amare got back into the game, the Sun's domination resumed...at least that's what I noticed.
