Simply put, if your efforts directly/indirectly lead to my employment, I will give you $1,500 cash. I'm currently pursuing opportunities in the Atlanta area with the intent to eventually re-locate to the NW - Oregon or SW Washington. However, my wife and I are prepared to move there immediately - if the right opportunity presents itself. I'll keep this generic here, but if you are interested in helping me in this venture, please PM me and I will be glad to get my resume to you and/or discuss any aspects in futher detail. Perhaps this seem like an unorthodox approach to an employment search, but then, I'm an unorthodox person, and we live in unorthodox/challenging times. Looking forward to hearing from you. ABM
I can send you a resume. Last 20+ years in print and retail management. I'm open to new opportunities, though. I'm a people person.
If your background is in printing, i think you'd have a pretty good shot. We are hiring a Account Manger. I bit the bullet and scheduled an employment search trip to Portland. This far, I've enrolled in the Trail Blazers Career Fair (29th). I've also responded to job openings (interviews pending) with KRAFT Foods, Fred Meyer, Trader Joe's, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Wish me luck.
Hey, u should come work at the Klamath Falls Fred Meyer, we could talk blazers while u stock lol. Plus we could form a blazer caravan to travel north for Blazer games.
Not to bum you out, but Oregon is hurting worse then the rest of the country. Big article in the O today . . . 9% unemployment . . . expected to exceed 10% . . . turn around in mid to late 2010. Oreogn getting hit harder than other states becuase business is not as diversfied in Oregon. Hope something works out, but I thought you should know the economic climate in Oregon is worse than oher states. Thank god for my McDonalds job . . . apprently McDonalds benefits from recessions . . . cheap food and all.
Yeah, I've been looking for a job near Portland for a few months and I haven't really found anything (and what I did find was a sales job with mediocre potential in my opinion). I find it strange, because I thought I'd be scooped up like a blue-chip recruit. I don't mean to pounce on your thread ABM, but if anyone knows of something, give me a shout.
