I managed to get my hands on a PS3 for the express purpose of selling it....It just so happens that Ebay is now saturated by PS3's so I decided to make a deal with a guy I know who owns a small independant video game store. I give him my PS3 20 gig, and he gives me cash + Xbox 360(the system i actually want) and 5 games. I don't know what games to get. I'm definately choosing Gears of War, but after that i'm at a loss. I really want Virtua Tennis 3 but that comes out next year....ANy help?

Also, I'm looking to purchase a snow blower/thrower for my dad who is gettin older. I don't really feel like paying $1400 so i've been lookin at cheaper electric snow throwers... does anyone have a snow blower/thrower who could recommend something?

    Thanks

Sounds like a good deal, I'd go for it if you really prefer a 360 over a PS3. I'd recommend Call of duty 3, Dead or Alive, and Halo 3 (I think it's out).

You got a pretty good deal getting cash and xbox 360 w/ 5 games. So are you gonna wait for PS3's price to come down or what?

Obviously get Gears of War. For the other games I'd get NBA 2k7, Dead Rising, Saints Row, Fight Night Round 3, Splinter Cell Double Agent. There's alot of other good games out there too depending on what you like but that's what I'd get.

Find a person to do the deal with, those gameshops never tend to give anything close to equal value.

Either find a person who wants PS3 and has Xbox 360 and some games + cash.

Or just PS3 for cash, and then buy a XBox 360 + games.

Xbox360 costs $500 at bestbuy and comes with a game and controller.
4 more games @ 80 = 320$, which is 820. As well you can get the games you want to wait for (Halo 3, Virtua Tennis 3, etc.)

I'm guessing PS3 still sells for $1000 in Canada.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Futureshop.ca Xbox for $399.

Xbox 360 Core System delivers the same powerful gaming as Xbox 360 but starts with the basics and...

Then 4 additional games @ $80 (you could probably get them cheaper - just worst case scenario) you are only at $720.

I think Xbox 360 games at Futureshop were 50 or 60 dollars on average. I was only using $80 as a high value if norespect bought games that happened to be expensive.

    Realistically it could cost norespect.

    400 (maybe more advanced system + 200) + 4 * 60 = 640 or 840 for more advanced system.

You have to trade in or sell your PS3 relatively soon, or else it isn't worth it. Prices will continue to drop as there are more PS3s.

I need an opinion as well. My friend is selling his psp for $120. It is in decent condition, it works and all. So is it worth buying it from him? He is giving me 4 games, case, a memory stick with it. I think I might get it from him by wednesday. Or should I wait till after thanksgiving sale for the price to go down and just buy a new one?

Sell it and make $1000. Unless he gives you like $300 cash along with the 360, don't bother.

If you like GTA, you HAVE to get Saints Row.
