I say let him go. There is a reason why he was dropped and waived.

    He is inconsistent.

    Sure beats counting on Swift.

And I'd like to say something about his "inconsistency". In 8 games with us this season, he's gone from three in this order:
    0-1
    0-1
    1-3
    0-1
    4-8
    0-2
    3-5
    0-1

While those numbers aren't really indicative of how consistent he is, Frahm isn't the type who'll shoot 7-9 from three one night then 0-6 the next. For a young player, his shot is already very solid. The Rockets right now also aren't in a position where big name players are crying to come to us. We'll be looking for a shooter in the offseason and if we don't get any better ones, Frahm will be a good backup plan.

He'll be 29 at the start of next season. That's not young.

He had one dunk, and all of a sudden he's athletic? Um, no.

He's shooting 33% on three-pointers this season. His first two seasons, he shot 37% and 38.8%. That's hardly shooting "lights out" for someone who's role (by virtue of not being able to do anything else) is a 3-point specialist.

Not to mention he's not a good defensive player.

he's not all that good. he's alrite but not worth keeping. he is definetly not the type of shooter we need. we can possibly get a better shooter in the FA.

First off, Frahm is not athletic...

What he is is a great shooter who knows his role and is smart...he's a sound post passer, moves well without the ball, and knows how to get himself open...what that amounts to is a stable 10-15 minute player who can spread a defense and take pressure off Yao and Tracy...If he can be had for a reasonable price, then I'd love to see him back...

I'm sorry, jus because the kid can't jump outta the gym like Stro doesn't mean he isn't athletic. He's got nice hops, nice speed, and a very nice jump shot. With the right minutes, I think he can become a very good spot up shooter. Something that we need right now.
