It's not clear. There are conflicting reports about whether we get to keep Jordan Hamilton or not. It should clear up relatively soon. Ed O.
Nobody knows, but as usual the select few "fans" think they know everything is clear as day and the sky if falling.
Who is left from "this group"? Aldridge and ... who? An impaired Roy? Nate? The roster has been turned over tremendously since he was acquired. Ed O.
if a window does open, it opens in 2-3 years IMO. by then Andre will be much too old for the core group. talking about Wessy Wes, Aldridge, Oden, Crash and maybe Batum with Roy in a supporting role.
I'm at this blazer thing at the bing lounge and someone said we get to keep Jordan Hamilton but not faired?
Gotcha. I guess I don't think that core is good enough to open a window, personally. HOPEFULLY... but. Man. Ed O.
how so. we traded a guy no one here wanted and basically wanted to give away (Rudy). Got younger in the PG spot with a decent PG that can start in the league. Sure, we lost some talent but Dre slowed down the offense alot IMO.....especially with his late game isolations. oh yeah, we also traded away a player we would never bring over from sweden or wherever the fuck he's from. I'm disappointed about Rudy, personally, because I like the guy...but I like Felton.
we traded Rudy for a late first. Awesome deal. We then took that awesomely-gained asset and tossed it into a deal it shouldn't have been tossed in to. Then, because we traded Rudy, we felt the need to make the "first reach of the draft" and take a backup PG/SG instead of the best rebounder in years. Then, instead of spending <500k to buy the 57th pick to throw in, we decide to send one of our young Euro assets. If he sucks so badly, why did DAL want him?
Dallas almost certainly valued the 26th pick more than they did Rudy, and so they wanted the rights to Koponen for a 2nd rounder. Denver was in the driver's seat here, it seems... Ed O.
