The Nachbar we are watching now is the Nachbar the Rockets and Hornets fans saw, he had a nice year last season but that doesn't erase a career of inconsistency. Frank has given this guy every chance but he looks awful.

He has played him PF, SF even some SG and he looks nothing more than dead weight.

I thought he was supposed to be the "the best player" in training camp.

You mean his trade value was at its peak and Thorn failed to deal him?

Thank God that year wasn't his contract year. Otherwise, we'd be watching Boki for years to come.

In case you haven't noticed--and apparently you haven't, Boki has been picking it up lately...

In the first 10 games...he averaged 7.7 ppg and 2.2 rpg in 26 minutes. He shot a miserable 33.8% (27 for 80) overall and only 26.4% (9 for 34) from the three point line.

In the second 10 games...he averaged 11.4 ppg and 3.2 rpg in 23 minutes. He shot a better 41.2% (38 for 91) overall and 36.2% (17 for 47) from the three point line.

Percentages still down from last year, but he started very slowly last year as well, with five DNP-CD's. He will be traded next week.

He looks so bad. He hits a couple of 3s in the 4th quarter every night when the nets are already down by 14 to boost his stats. The thing is, he's playing aggressively, he's driving to the hoop, he's shooting when he gets an open look--but he just can't connect. He really needs to do nothing differently on offense except make shots. Who knows if it's just a temporary slump, if he's hurt, or he's just not that good a shooter. he seems like a good guy, though, and it is a shame that he is going through this in his contract year--regardless of its effect on the team. I haven't checked the stats, but it seems like his FT% is down, too.

Although he is the face of the New Jersey Nets Franchise, this young Croatian is a big fan of hookah and smokes it everyday, before every game. He takes many long, hard drags, before handing it over to his neighbor, Jason Collins. Last time Jason C. smoked it, he got cancer. Its ok, just cancer.citation needed

he still has the prettiest looking shot of all nets players...always makes sure his feet are set and his release and arc are both good...always attacks the rim when he gets a chance...he's just in aslump...his mechanics are good but his mind is not where it should be because of his slow start...if he shoots it well 2 or 3 games in a row he's good for 15pts/gm on 45% shooting...he needs more minutes early in the season to get going...but all of it being taken by antoine wrightwho is playing well...frank needs to give some of aw's minutes to boki...antoine already injured himself...wright hasn't played much in 2 yrs so antoine may not have anything left late in the season when defense becomes more important...

I don't think Boki shoots enough 3s. That's the best part of his game, but he doesn't shoot enough.

Even if he makes two or three in a row, the Nets will stop going to him. Many times, he'll only take 2 attempts a game. I just think it's stupid.

maybe we have seen it before. as some one else said thank god it wasn't a contract year and too bad we didn't trade him. The Nets if they choose to resign Wright, Boki and Krstic should get reasonable prices.

come on, look at his career stats. he shot above .400 once and it was last season. and it's not only about his offence, his all around game is just abysmal.

as Mark jackson would have said: "It's just a bad basketball"
