I think there is still a possibility we are getting Asik

Houston needs just a bit of room to offer D12 the max while a straight salary dump of Asik is going too far.

Lopez for Asik straight up makes perfect sense.

Can we trade right after we receive Lopez? Maybe they just need a little more room and we just trade Leonard for asik?

Lopez is better than Asik. Last season, Asik's PER was 14.9, Lopez's was 18.9.

People don't realize that Lopez made a big jump last season as is a pretty decent center.

Why pay more for a lesser talent?

Yeah I don't want to give away Lopez just yet. I actually think he's better suited because he loves to bang. He's the stronger of the two brothers and a better defender to boot.

Don't get me wrong. I really love asik too; but I think looez's rebounding numbers will see a huge jump once he's paired with Aldridge.

I think we should be targeting a wing right now.. not another center.

Backup SF and 3rd string PG are the only next two moves unless there is at trade of Matthews imo.

I think we need the D. Haven't heard anything on him linked to us though. He might be out of our budget? I don't think we need the shooting of D Wright as much as we need the driving and D that someone like Brewer can provide.

I think there is a possibility I win the lotto today - the Asik odds are about the same

Either/or for me. That is unless they're wanting to make a big splash and try to trade for a big name at small forward or shooting guard.

The two things that worry me about pairing Lopez with LA is rebounding and health. If we keep Lopez, that is fine too.

Asik for Freeland and Leonard would be nice too.

Not saying it's gonna happen, but most trades you don't hear about until right before they happen.

If anything, I think we're sitting on a trade until after Dwight figures out where he's going.

If it's Houston, maybe we go after Asik. If it's Golden State, maybe we're dealing Aldridge for Lee/Thompson/Barnes.

No, there is not a possibility of getting Asik.

They want cap space, we don't have much left.

    Freeland is a negative asset.

Read that Camby wants to be released from Toronto! Why not send Freeland and Pav for Camby and a 2nd? Gives us a defensive back up center, gets us a 2nd round pick and opens additional cap space to pursue a wing.

I think so. Does Denver think the same? I think they do.
