    I have no problem with him winning the award. He was indeed the best player in the world last season.

    He is indeed a prick of the Arrogant kind. I can't imagine any footballer reacting like this. Most would have said "There was a lot of competition but i guess I was just ahead" or something like that.

    He knows that he was the best last season and has the right to be proud of that honor. Although I agree he should have calmed down a bit and mentioned the other competition, he does have a right to brag about his amazing and successful overall season. I will always say he's one of the best in the World, but he's definitely not one of my favorite players in football. In terms of popularity for Man United forwards, I like Wayne Rooney much more.

    He's still going. Has to be coming to his retirement. My guess is the end of next season.
