The Arizona Diamondbacks have reached agreement on terms for a one-year, $4,265,000 contract with right-hander Ian Kennedy, avoiding arbitration with the team's No. 1 starter from a year ago. Deals also were reached with relievers Brad Ziegler ($3,150,000) and Tony Sipp ($1,275,000), and third baseman Chris Johnson ($2,287,000).
