Watched the Ken Griffey Jr number retirement last night...him and Ichiro were two of my favorite Mariners ever! Hoping Aoki can step up and have an Ichiro like career...both really smart batters

This series with the Angels was very fun to watch. O'Malley's 3 run jack and web gem in the 7th/8th was a great feel good story too. I'm really hoping this team builds on this and makes the Wild Card, only 3.5 back and have the Tigers coming to town who are just ahead of them.

O'Rally! I have really high hopes for this kid...I heard they signed a pitcher who can pitch left or right handed from the minors too!

Pat Venditte. He was drafted by the Yankees..... What are the odds of the Yankees drafting a relief pitcher? /s

No seriously happy for Ichiro. He's one of the few baseball players who's a generational talent. As much as Lebron or Jordan are for basketball. He should be worshipped in Seattle since he's basically made them relevant after Griffey and Arod took off. His first year is one of the greatest accomplishments in sports history. To win AL MVP and ROY in your first year of in another league (much less a culture you've never lived in.....) GOAT!

Even as a Yankees fans I enjoyed watching The Kid, The Big Unit, and Ichiro over the years. Seattle had some great players the last 30 years with the first two already in the HOF. Ichiro will eventually receive his call.

Also really thought it was great to see Martin get his first grandslam after going 0-7 with the bases loaded. He actually made it a game last night.

I keep telling M's fans that Jerry Dipoto will turn that team around. He's the perfect GM for that market. Make a lot of risk/reward deals while gradually rebuilding the minor leagues. They had a great draft as well this year. The Angels totally fucked up getting rid of him.

This new kid they picked up off waivers Mike Freeman was great for his major league debut....first two at bats found the gap and singled both times..3rd time Trout robbed him of a double....played well for Cano at second base...great to see the Mariners sweep the Angels...wildcard is looking more and more possible.

I was watching when Seager hit that bomb off of Wilson. It doesn't make up for having to watch the shit show the Yankees have become. I hope Seattle is on the playoff hunt till the end. Yanks are crapola!
