He's looking for a multi-year deal and did not receive one from Dallas as they gave him a 1-year offer. Everything will depend on if they amnesty Roy but he would be a great addition to the bench. Vs. Portland (2010-2011) -- off the bench: 10 pts in 15 min. (4-7 FG) 14 pts in 22 min. (3-8 FG) 12 pts in 17 min. (5-10 FG) **edit** IDEA not IDEAH (cut me some slack, it's mid-night!)
Most we could offer him is 3 years $9 mil full mini-MLE. That wouldn't be a bad contract if he continues to excel off the bench, but JJ is probably aiming for a bigger deal, I think I'd prefer to see us target another big. I don't want to see us stuck as a donut hole team again if one or two guys are out with an injury. Between Smith, Armon, Williams, Batum, I think we can slide by ok for a few games with those backup guards having a bigger role. We are much more thin up front then at guard even with grandpa Thomas.
I'm glad Artest got ejected. No reason for that after the play, the Artest punk ass. Who do we send Armon and one draft pick with Dallas?
Barea and the OKC 2nd PG were the best backup-PGs we played against last year. There was that game Tinsley came off the Grizzlies bench and torched us but I think it was two years ago.
you guys would have to hear me b*tch and moan about Barrea's flopping all the time. Just ask poor PtldPlatypus (sp?) that poor dude heard me narrating Barrea's moves for a whole game
