There is some controversy in this subject but what do you think is the ideal sports diet? I've heard some say 40% carbs 40% protein and 20% but to me 60% carbs 15% protein 25% fat seems like the more sensible sports diet.
I have heard many things. Honestly, the way I do it is, I eat whatever I want. Don't drink pop and try to stay away from unhealthy sugars, but it is not like I don't eat a cookie, if I want to eat it, I will, but I try to stay away from it. I mainly only drink milk and water, a lot of water. I do have juice for breakfast.I do that and I workout (nothing real difficult yet). I try to eat a variety of carbs, fats, and proteins, but I don't have a real planned diet. Mainly just don't drink pop and try to stay away from sugars.
If you don't add any protein supplements than you are probably leaning toward the 60/15/25 diet. Maybe slightly less carbs.
Well, I love playing sports everyday and playing on leagues, but I'm not going to waste my childhood, when I can actually eat all the junk food and get away with it, just for a sport.
I eat it like this...30% Breakfast, 30% Lunch, 30% Dinner, 10% Junk.If any serious training must be done, then I'll be on the strictness, but I doubt that.
Well that's nice. Relying on your youth but eventually it will catch up to you if you don't fix your diet. Maybe not for awhile. Do you just binge or are you more careful than that?
I don't eat anything healthy Last night everybody in my family ate chicken breast I think...but no, I went to Taco Bell
I have never really eaten healthy in my life and I guarantee I'm in better shape than the majority of the people on this board.
