Then why couldnt Minn make a deal before the draft with the number 7 pick. I never heard MInn name come up with any deals other than getting rid of KG. If Ray Allen is out there to get you would have to think your team could use him just as much as Boston if not more.
I'm pretty sure the Sonics didn't trade Allen to Minnesota because they didn't want to keep him in the same division. I think Minnesota is slowly entering a rebuilding stage, so trading their #7 would be pointless. But, for this team to truely rebuild, they need to get rid of KG.
