Portland relies on their bench and so do we, so it will come to who has the player who can knock you out... thats a no - brainer, that would have to be Brandon Roy. LOL Semifinals: We will then face the winner of PHX and GSW, we can take on both teams since they both rely on the run - n gun offence. Hopefully, we have finally solved the key to beating this kind of team; answer = Andrew Bynum. With our team right now, im confident that we can take on the suns in a 7 - game series. West Finals: Then, we would most probably face one of the texas twins in SA and Dallas. I would prefer to face Dallas since they can't defend the post (hopefully) and Kobe just loves going crazy against them LOL I would be terrified if we face SA (we lose in around 6 games) Up to this point, it would already be overachieving LOL and i'd be satisfied this season. Finals: History repeats itself! LOL LAL - Boston... Lakers lose in 5? We havent shown that we can take on Boston so this is my predicition. Haha thoughts?
I'm not completely sold on us yet. I do think we've improved, and I also think we're a top four team out West, but I still don't know if we can take out Dallas or San Antonio in a seven game series. With the way we've played Phoenix this year, they don't worry me, however, I still think teams that can play solid interior defense can beat us.
