Alright, if the Boozer trade does go down our lineup would look like this:
    Starter/Bench

    PG- Chucky Atkins/Tierre Brown/Tony Bobbitt
    SG- Kobe Bryant/Sasha Vujacic
    SF- Lamar Odom/Jumaine Jones/Luke Walton
    PF- Carlos Boozer/Brian Cook/Slava
    C- Chris Mihm/Brian Grant

A core of Kobe, Lamar, and Boozer is great for the future, but even better...that is the most similar lineup compared to some of the dynasty Bulls' lineups the league has seen since, well...they were a lineup. What I am getting at....could the acquisition of Carlos Boozer be a move made for Phil Jackson? His agent was rumored to of met with Buss in Hawaii and agreed to a 5 year, 50 mil. dollar contract to take over the Lakers next year. They have signed Shaw and Rambis, who both know the triangle, on as assistant coaches. Could Shaw, Rambis, and Kobe start teaching the players the triangle now? Is this a stretch? Would this lineup put us back into contention after they are given an the rest of this year and an off-season to mesh?

[IMG] Sadly, we still have to wait for the trade to be official...

EDIT: CLOSE THIS, DELETE IT, PLEASE...notMuchgame reported that Frank talked to Mitch, who didn't have any talks...denied having talks, denied knowing about it...ugh...
