    What team would dominate the nba? iwould have to say new york or la cause their big market teams and every body wants to play in la or new york.

    If there was no salary cap I think it would be the Blazers. They have the richest NBA team owner who is also one of the richest guys in the world. From what I've seen in the past he really cares about his team, and I think he would be willing to spend the most to get the best players.

    Yes but there is generally a direct correlation between payroll and team success. 5 of the 6 title contenders this season are ranked in the top-12 in payroll.

    I agree with Courtvision that having unlimited money doesn't mean that the team will be a dominant team. The New York Knicks have the biggest salary roll in the league but they aren't a very good team. Even when you sign every superstar that you can, that doesn't mean that they will be the best team in the league example Dallas but the reason is they play poor defense.

    But Mark Cuban will be willing to pay alot of money.
