What effect does it have on their draft picks? Does this mean Nets will not go big, and that Milwaukee will not go after Alexander? This will be interesting to see.
This means Brandon Rush. They're either taking him at 10 or going through with the Blazers deal, I put money on it.
Either way Alexander needs to develop for a few years and wouldnt be ready to play major minutes this season. Alexander could backup Jefferson and Villanueva at PF in this scenario. Also keep in mind that the Bucks could also move Villa, Redd, and Mo Williams this offseason, although that doesnt seem as likely now with RJ in the mix. I have no clue what NJ is doing, but I would imagine they try to load up on talent to make a run at LeBron. Rush would be a good pick at 10.
I'm not too sure they'll go with Alexander, unless they believe he'll make a good combo forward. I see a greater likelihood they'll go big - I mean, they have Charlie V (combo forward), Bogut...and Dan Gadzuric? They need help down low.

He may not have been worthy of the #1 pick, but he's a very solid C IMO. They may still be moving Redd and could draft a SG or Westbrook if he's there.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>For now, the Bucks (picking eighth) and Nets (picking 10th) will retain their picks, but the Bucks had targeted small forward Joe Alexander for their slot. I'm wondering if Dave has some inside info - point guard? Either way, this makes it more likely for Alexander to come to the Nets.
