WARNING: THIS IS WAY AHEAD OF THE PRESENT TIME THINKING THAT I JUST FELT LIKE BLABBERING ABOUT AT 1 IN THE MORNING

i think that if we are still losing by the time of the trade deadline and it looks like arenas still doesnt get how to play PG the way we want, we should look to cut our losses and trade arenas and hughes for antoine walker and his expiring 15 mil contract. this could help us to clear enuff cap room (i think we would hav 30 mil in cap with only 3 players potentially under contract [jamison, ramos, hayes]). we could spend 10 mil of that cap resigning our own guys (kwame to a 6-year 40 mil deal [if the team determines him as a fit], blake to a 3-year 6 mil deal, picking up the option on jeffries [therefore giving us 6 players under contract]). that means we would need 6 more players to fill out the roster. i think we could get 3 from vet minimum/cheap labor like 2 from summer league. we could get 3 potentially good players in donyell marshall, perhaps damon jones if he can prove his last season was not a fluke, and ray allen. if we have leftover cap we could try getting a good backup or two like so our starting lineup could look like:

    PG- Jones
    SG- Ray Allen
    SF- Jamison
    PF- Marshall
    C- Kwame

    Backups: Hayes, Jeffries, Ramos, Blake

Why would Dallas do that, not saying they don't get talent, but how many PG's and G's do they need?

    PG: Arenas/ Harris
    SG: Marquis/ Stackhouse/ Hughes/ Abdul Wahad/ Finley (he'll play SF)

I'm sure Hughes and Arenas want to reunite with Stackhouse.

Damon Jones is an FA right now, he's not going to be one next season again.
I think this is getting way to ahead of ourselves, I understand discussing this when the situation arises, but not right now.

I dont like it, Arenas has said that he wants to be the PG, and I think he is re-dedicating himself to the team, I know he is a gym rat...Eddie Jordan has said multiple times that he is the first one in, and the last one out...I think we will be around 500 come the trade deadline, probably over that.
