Choose one player from your favorite teams starting 5 that you would cut. <u>Rules:</u> The player in question, can't lead your team in any major statistical category, as dictated by official NBA statistics. In other words, if anything the NBA keeps stats on, the player in question leads your team in. He can't be cut. If this rule negates your entire starting 5, then the next off the bench will be first cut.
Warriors- Clifford Robinson He is a premier defender in the NBA but is replaceable with a healthy Troy Murphy.
rockets - kelvin cato i love his defense and all. but he is a blackhole on offense with the exception of an alleyoop pass every now and then.
I'd cut Andrew Declerq from the Magic... He's a scrub yes, but his scrub stats are horrible compared to other scrubs...
Raptors - Morris Peterson, everything he does can be replaced, and likely with a more consistent player.
Nets-Jason Collins He is a solid passer out of the high post. But he cant finish in the low post which is horrible for a center. He doesnt rebound enuff. And is a scoring liablity, which allows teams sometime to focus their entire interior on stopping K-mart.
Jazz- Tom Guggliotta. Provides good experience which is why he starts. Other than that, he contributes little for a starter.
Reggie Evans. He is honest, tough and rebounds, but he is a liability down the other end of the floor, and when Vitaly Potapenko is in the team he provides the things that reggie does too, and with a reliable mid range game. Nick Collison will likely take the starting spot next year anyway.

He's an integral part of the offense that we're running but he's the most dispensable among the starting 5.
Dallas Mavericks - Antoine Walker Has started in every single game he has played 80 for the Mavericks, and although he has been pretty consistent, he takes too many shots and jacks up horrible shot attempts that aren't needed. He has shot 299 three pointers this year, making only 80 (.268). He hasn't been rebounding like he was in the beginning of the year. In my opinion, he is the player who is not needed in their lineup. Could be replaced with this year's 6th man of the year front-runner, Antawn Jamison.
Miami - Caron or Grant?, I think I'd cut Grant, I know Caron hasn't produced till towards the end of the year, but he's been there lately, and when he plays big we win.
Mavericks - Antoine Walker, i love the guy but he is the worst of the starting five, plus is the only one not to lead the team in something, and he can be replaced with jamison.
Washington-Jerry Stackhouse...He is horrible, the only thing that would hurt us is the Cap hit. We have Jarvis Hayes who has played the 3 all year and has a nice shooting touch.
Lakers - Rick Fox.. He used to be a very good defender, but for obvious injury reasons he has lost a lot in his step. He also is having difficulty shooting the ball this year..
also another is Celtics - Chris Mihm(starts sometimes) he isnt physical enough, but hes there cuz they hav no Center
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TracyMcWizzle:</div><div class="quote_post">I'd cut Andrew Declerq from Orlando Magic. No comment to him. i hate this guy...</div> I agree with you. I don't 'hate' him though, he's just better suited for coming off the bench. Since Armstrong left us, we could use his energy and hustle play that we are now lacking.
