If you don't like our offseason, who would you have signed instead?

I'm just curious. The people who have given this offseason a poor grade so far, who would you have signed instead?

Who was available with the MLE/BAE that you think Neil should have gone after?

 

This thread will be a short one. Everyone runs from having to answer in fear of looking silly.

 

I'm just really curious. Obviously some of the guys that we discussed haven't signed yet, but all indications is that most of those guys signed or will sign deals that are well above the MLE.

 

I suggested before the moratorium we should go after Shawn Marion and Jermaine O'Neal.

You created a thread about a wing, center, and pg. Several people made suggestions in that thread.

 

I don't know, don't study the league on a daily basis, don't get paid sicx figures to analyze this, don't get to talk to other GMs or agents. How the hell do I know what is available and not available.

Does that mean we can't analyze moves that are made. Is every move made by the Blazers a good move? We just as fans say that is the best they could do so like it?

Why don't you like the Frye signing? What else would you have done with that money to fill the need Orlando needed? Can't just say all these other contracts are bad, have to give examples of what they should have done with the money?

 

I would have signed Andray Blatche and Beno Udrih but that doesn't mean I don't like this offseason. The guys that were signed were in my top 3 realistic singings for those positions.

Channing Frye signed a 4-year, 32 million deal. That's $8 million per year. We couldn't even come close to matching that type of deal.

Like I said, it will be hard to know if some of these guys could have been had for a reasonable price. I think Young is going to end up making around the MLE. I also don't see him leaving LA.
