i'm just wondering, if you were the gm for this off-season, what would you have done differently? i, for one, have been extreamly pleased with the off-season we had had. but, we all know, there can be some changes. let me voice out my opinions and you guys can do your own.

JOB fired / Mo Cheeks Signed - this move was a move that we had to make, IMO. although JOB did a great job with us, the fans didnt like him, and most of the players didnt either. especially green and sammy. so it was basically JOB, or our future, and i liked our choice of picking the future. also, i think the Mo Cheeks is a great fit for us. who else to coach our team but a man who won the championship with us? the players will love him, and im sure that the fans will too. lets hope he gets it done on the court.

NBA Draft - 45th pick - Louis Williams - this was basically the only thing i didnt like about this off-season. i felt that with the 45th pick, we should have drafted someone that could give us immediate impact. some like.......Ryan Gomes? but, now that i look at it, it wasnt that bad of a draft. i just hope that williams turns out to be a great player for us in the future. after all, we already signed stephen hunter, didnt we?

Resigning Korver, Sammy, and Green - i liked this move a lot. they are our building blocks for the future, and it was a no brainer to resign them.

Signing Steven Hunter - this move was a great move. we needed more depth at the C / PF spot, and who better to get than a young, good, developing center? this was a great signing and i hope he blossoms into a star with the sixers.

Marc Jackson for 2nd Rounder - at first, i wasnt too happy. although i love that BK is trading for picks instead of giving them away, marc was a good and solid contributer to our team. but, with the signing of hunter and nailon, i dont think that we will miss him that much. but i wish him well, and i hope he has a great season with the NJ Nets.

Signing Lee Nailon - this was a good signing. i see him coming off the bench for us and giving us a scoring punch. he adds the production we would miss when we traded away mark jackson.

76ers Sign Deng Gai and Shav Randalf - well, there isnt much i can dislike about this. the sixers get 2 youngster cheap. hopefully, they will turn out to be undrafted gems for us.

Aaron Mckie Released - Signed by the Lakers - well, time has come. i think that mckie's time in this league is coming to an end. but i still think we should have kept him and released kevin ollie instead. but anyways, mckie's leadership will be missed, and hopefully he will have a good rest of his career.

Michael Bradley Picks Up Player Option - well, this isnt really that important, so i had it last. i dont really care if he is back or not. i just hope that he somehow breaks through and has a good season, because if he doesnt, he'll be gone next off.

well, as you can see, this has been a busy off-season for our sixers. and i have to say, this was the best off-season that we have had in a while. and if i could redo it, i probably wouldnt change anything. now, all that's left is to wait and see what happens this season. i hope that this off takes us some place we haven't been in in 5 years, the NBA Finals.
