Tournaments are fun but I think the IFL has discovered (the hard way) that not everyone can fight on the same schedule.
I looooooooooooove tournaments. It's what I miss most about Pride, their Grand Prix's. UFC would be complete IMO if they were able to do them. One weight class per year would be great IMO. I'm so glad for Matt Horwich and Wagney. I've had the chance to see both of them fight here in Ottawa (Hull Qc to be precise, cause MMA ain't sanctioned yet in ON) and they're both very good fighters. I've also got Matt as a myspace friend and get his group messages from time to time. Quite a religious man.. in a strange sort of way. good golly the dearth of HW's is glaring, I have no idea who any of these ppl are. I wish the IFL was more accessible, I know some of it is shown on one of the Canadian sports channels (The Score or Rogers I believe) but it ain't regular.
