"I found myself last year getting the ball with five or six seconds left on the shot clock and struggling to create shots. This summer I worked on getting a few go-to moves. I'm going to shoot the ball a little more this year and put the ball on the floor. I'm going to score more points and grab more rebounds. I want to be a more complete player."</div> Source Sounds like he's out on a mission this year, which I like very much he seems to be on the same page as Webber, A.I and Cheeks as far as being eager and ready to play ball. I've watched the Nike Underground show on MTV2 and being that he is the coach of the team at they talked about him a little and I have to say I like everything about him. He's a real baller and I really like his demeanor, and he is concentrated on playing ball Being that now I think he is the face of Chicago with some of the publicity he is getting such as the Nike Underground show, Nike ads and so on I think he will try to make his hometown proud. Gaining 10 pounds of muscle isn't a bad start btw. If he continues to progress I could very well see him being at that Tayshaun Prince like level. Like the importance Prince is for the Pistons that's how I envision Iguodala will be for the Sixers very soon, probably in another 2 years or so, maybe even next year.
This definitely sounds mpressive, as if if Iguodala didn't have enough he went and added 10 pounds of muscle so that shows a positive work ethic for a young player. It is also good to hear he has been working on that offense, we'll see how he does once he is tested in an actual game. I think Andre is going to be a notable threat on both sides of the floor this season, hopefully he can become more agressive with the ball, but I feel like this player is just going to keep getting better and better.
He is definitely on his way to being a future all star, not sure if it will happen this year, but sometime in the near future it is bound to happen, should he keep this up. Iguodala has answered every single critic that has ever said anything about him by working on that area which was viewed as his weak point. Coming out of college questions that where being asked was could he shoot the NBA three, could he be a consistent shooter from mid range. In his rookie year he answered all those questions, and more though he was no Ray Allen from the three point line he showed he could hit a three pointer when left open, and when required. He also was shooting around 50% from the field (49.3 to be exact). I can not wait to see how much he ahs improved this year. I think he could be a viable scoring option should Webber go down with an injury.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> "I found myself last year getting the ball with five or six seconds left on the shot clock and struggling to create shots."</div> This is actually scary cause he shot 49% last year.If he got some go-to moves then watch out cause he's gonna score.Saying that he got the ball with so few seconds left on the clock could mean he wants to handle the ball and his assists should go up too. Id love to see him get 15 ppg/7rpg/4apg and that sweet defense
Awesome. Good to hear that he's bolstering his offensive skills. Last season a lot of his points came from put backs and fast break points so getting some go to moves and handles is great. Not to mention those ten pounds of muscle he added. Now he'll be able to rebound even better as weird as that sounds and might even be able to post up against his defender. I can't wait to see what he brings to the table four years from now if he keeps improving his game every offseason. People, we just got ourselves the next Philadelphia superstar.
