channing frye. he is playing much better than diogu right now. diogu is rotting on the bench. frye will become an elite pf in the future and diogu will probably be a descent one.
I'll say Frye too. It's tough to say right now, because Diogu was injured for part of the season, but Frye has already been proving himself and is having a solid year for a rookie.
I'll take Channing Frye as of now, potential wise, I like Diogu for some reason. He seems very Elton Brand-like and I guess it's somewhat a homer pick.
Diogu is a good pounder inside, but I like Channing because he has the height and has a good outside game as well as inside game.
I'll take Frye for what he has done this year.He has the height and he can hit the mid-range.I think they will be 2 solid PFs in the future.
I say Ike Diogu because I'm a big ASU homer and I hate UgAy. Ike Diogu won the Pac-10 player of the year so even though he's a little short for a power forward he has skills. I think in time he will be a good player in the league. Right now if he had had as many minutes as Frye their stats would be nearly the same. I think both will do well in this league.
Channing Frye can be a solid offensive player, shooting 15-ft jumpers around the basket, along with a flurry of little hook shots. That's basically his game. Diogu, I haven't seen much of him, but my guess is that he'll become a strong rebounder but not so great with the jumpshot. Maybe he'll become Ben Wallace-esque in the future.
Hmm...I've seen Diogu shoot some decent jumpers and get them in.He does have a jumper but I see him more of a post up kind of guy.
He's a powerful dude. I see him as a majo post-up threat in the future. Yeah, he can make a 12 footer too. He seems to eb a good inside defender and a rough player at PF. I think he will be better as a power guy but Frye will be more of a finesse scorer as Frye knows how to score and he has a feathery jumper and he can score inside as well.
I'll take Ike Diogu, bc he is an actual post. He weil soon be much more valuable to his team than Frye. Yes, Channing is talented, but there's no way they couuld build around him. He is a compliment player. Right now he is complimenting Eddy Curry's low post game. Ike can score around the basket, which gives him the ability to be the #1 option down the line. He is also very good at defense, and he's tugh inside on both sides of the floor.
I'll take Ike Diogu, I know this is an old topic but Ike Diogu didn't get much playing time but when he did get some, he teared the boards up and scored at will. He is undersized at the Center/PF position but his muscle and weight helps him bang with the biggest and most physical big men in the league.Channing Frye is soft and needs to gain some muscle to be an effective rebounder and defender in the league.

Frye Knicks fans know what frye can do i watch him as much as i can on MSG. his shooting range is good lol and he takes pumpfakes on the 3 point line and so many fall for it
