Tonight against the Grizzlies Ike Diogu came up big for us. He pretty much led the team to victory. Off the bench he had 19 points (6-10 fg 7-7 ft) 9 rebounds and 1 block for us. He dominated a frontcourt with no other than NBA star Pau Gasol. He was awesome and is beginning to show the potential that he could someday be our franchise player. Go Ike!
It should be fun to watch Ike vs. Powell. So far both have shown me very similar games. Ike has the edge in low post moves, but once he loses his his dribble and he gets doubled, he's screwed. Powell has shown a real nice jumpshot and he seems far more athletic than Diogu and a better rebounder. Go Warriors!

It seems like Ike is playing much better in Indiana than in Golden State. He's a solid player. And right now he's showing that he wants to play. Possible you guys think he'll start?

He takes a while to understand things, his defense is really limited to blocking shots and right now the only reason Powell won't start is that he isn't in the best shape to play 30 minutes a game in Nellie ball just yet. Nelson has to rely on Harrington and Jax right now just like he was on Biedrins and Ellis at the beginning of the year and he has to play them both minutes to get anywhere near winnning.

Maybe next year.I think he and Jermaine still have to get used to each other and playing together. But when they do, they could become a very dominant combo.
