Jeff McInnis must be Z's best mate. He just keeps feeding the big fella. I'm glad that the relationship between Silas and Z is fine. We would not be where we are now, if they were both disgruntled!
Can't say this wasn't deserved, he has been playing much tougher this season and has been doing the nitty gritty. Like during the Toronto game when he actually went to the floor for the ball, Z is starting to realize in order to win, you have to give 110%. Good Job Z!
z's been just awesome as we all know, but I have to say, man tmac with his 62 point game, that has to get him the award
I gotta hand it to the big guy. He's been a different player the last few months. It's amazing the turnaround. I've never seen Z go after loose balls like he has been doing this year. It's a good sign. I guess you can say I'm happy we kept him.
^ werd I see Z dive to the floor about once a game now, it's just amazing the hustle that we are seeing from him. Joy to watch, just a joy.
Also where have all the Silas haters been? I don't know if there have been any on here, but the ESPN board was full of them. It's amazing what some wins will do. Anyway. I think the team is understanding just what Silas wants out of them. Hustle, night in and night out.
Ah we don't have many haters here bro, they never last (I usually end up banning their *****) The only haters that we have seen are the Bron ones, but none for the coach.
Congrats to Z. It's well deserved. You have to be happy for the big guy. He could have easily walked away and collected his money but instead has worked hard and fought through injuries to get back close to what he once was and could have been. We should be thankful he wasn't traded for some of the supposed offers that were out there. As far as the ESPN board. It continues to go downhill each day. There's no one left over there. It used to be a good board with a small dedicated group of knowledgable fans but it's turned into a joke.
haha I just checked out the espn forums... ooh man <font color="Red">We know they suck people, but let's not complain about them in every single thread, let's move on. - KJ</font>
Big Z getting recongition this year. Man wtf is going on? Seems like everything is going right for the Cavs at such an important time of the season. I love it.
It's all about faith and trust in the big fella. When he found his role and what was expected from him he has excelled. Its amazing what playes can do when playing with an actual point guard. None of the Smush Parker or Bimbo Coles stuff! Silas has done a fine job on the big unit!
i still think he can get better. i'm still leary of his feet -- but *IF* they stay healthy big z can become not just an all-star but a dominant all-star center. it could be ming and z for the next 10 years.
Well, its good he is playing well now because in the next few years he will become an old fart in my opinion. Good luck in your play off run Cavaliers fans!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Streetball2k3:</div><div class="quote_post">Well, its good he is playing well now because in the next few years he will become an old fart in my opinion.</div> And those Raptor fans always wonder why no one likes them. Step it up.
One person doesn't represent all of us, if Cleveland is going to go far they need to put trust in Z b/c he can cause mismatch problems for many teams, and he's still one of the best centers in the East.
Z probably has 3 more really productive years left in him (in the 15-20 PPG range and the 7-9 RPG range) until he drops off because of age.
I'm happy for Z, and Karma too for all his persistence in fighting off Z's critics earlier in the year. I'm ready to nominate Karma for Paxonn's job.
