Like everyone here, I find the organization a big mess - but first and foremost I am a fan of the Portland Trailblazers!

When we win I am a fan. When we lose I am a fan. When Oden has yet another medical proceedure or when BRoy is forced to retire. When we draft Bowie over Jordan and even when Damon is caught at the airport with pot...I am a fan of my home team.

I am not a fair weather fan. I am a fan of the Portland Trailblazers.

I hope like hell we can make a trade or two or three that might improve the team. With Nate or without Nate...I am a fan of the Portland Trailblazers!

Anyone else a true diehard fan?

    Homer for life. Go Blazers!

Amen. I'm hating it right now. BIG TIME. But fan for life! But I won't spend time watching every game in this current state.

It's like crack... and like Whitney said, "crack is whack!" So are these Blazers. But I love me some crack!

Like crack... I always end up hating myself afterwards. Fix this team, Paul.

Agreed, I am a fan of the team. I am not a fan of the way they are playing right now.

I root for them to win every game, even if I know it will result in an inferior draft pick. I get disgusted when I see efforts like tonight's, even though the loss was probably beneficial for the team in the long run.

Rip City 'til I die. :chestbump:

I am a fan of black and red.... as long as those are the colors of the Blazers, I am a fan for life.

That's why you spend so much time here - very little odds of that happening!

I'm a fan of the Blazers.

    I LOATHE this management.

Fairweather or not but I can't support the likes of Larry Miller and Chad Buchanan who continue to make horrid decisions.

Fan of the team.....die hard......but cant fathom helping the lakers. This crawford trade stings from what is rumored.

Management has lost me. No plan. No vision.
The players and play don't bother me, it will pass, but the mismanagement of this team has reached the boiling point.

I will boycott the team if Derek Fisher is here.I hate that motherfucker.

The team has actual flexibility but wont be able to do shit with it. I believe management is going to be blacklisted with free agents due to the Crawford mess

    THAT was funny!

PS: this thread was pretty tough to create, I will admit. But in all the despair I felt compelled to vent in a slightly more positive approach. Very depressing time to be a fan, but things will change and there will be the day Blazermania will again fill the air.

Agree on all points. You can't really bring Blake back, but Fisher would be worse. I hate him nearly as much as I've ever hated any player in the NBA. And I believe you're correct on being blacklisted by FA - we'll get used and abused a la Hedo. Agents will dump their 2nd-tier FA's on Portland and convince us to pay far more than market.

Not if Larry and the Vulcan's are here. They put their egos over the teams success.

Point guard has been the lakers achillies for the last decade, especially defensively as opposing guards blow by them at will.

I'll be a Blazer fan until I die.

But, I also want whats best for the team. Thats firing McMillan, blow things up and rebuild throught the draft. A competent management team would be nice as well.

    And that's a true fan?

I really don't even care who the management is. I don't watch the management play I watch the Blazers. This is not even close to being the worst Blazers team I have watched. If all a fan gets out of basketball is quenching a need to win, prepare for disappointment - no matter what team you root for.

    Rise with us!

Ok, so it's time to dump the slogans and get to work! Today was a great day. We now have hope for the future.

Get the best GM candidate out there, let him pick our next coach and have time to assess the draft and select really sound rookies. And we'll have cap space to pursue top free agent talent. (c'mon, would't the addition of DWill be too good)

We're on our way. It will be slow, but the slate has been cleaned.

    Go Blazers!
