The flex pricing, that's fine. I'm ok with that. What kills me is all these fees. I bought a mini pack and now I just want a ticket to the preseason game at Memorial Collesium. I go to order online: $10.00 ticket $3.50 convenience fee $5.00 order charge. I want them mailed to me, $3.00. Ok, I can live with that one. How about will call? $5.00. Ok, I'll just print them at home. That costs them nothing, right? Apparently they feel they need to charge me 1.50 to do that. So my $10 ticket is actually $20 if I choose to print it out here at home. I know in the overall scheme, that's chump change, and it's not like I can't pay it, but I'm not going to. I already have to drive up from Eugene to go to the game, I'm not going to pay double what the ticket costs in fees.
Solution 1: go to the RG Box Office and buy your tix. No fees. Solution 2: Don't buy the tix at all. Solution 3: find a hot shot lawyer and file a class-action lawsuit against Ticketmaster. Good luck.
It pisses me off to no end that TicketMaster charges an extra couple of dollars to allow you to print your own tickets...instead of having them mail them to you. I find ticket processing/convenience/surcharge fees end up being more than 20% the cost of a concert/event ticket sometimes.
