He really seems that something clicked in his head. He's playing way more aggressive and doesn't have his head down when his offense isn't there for him. He was one of the bright spots of last night's loss.

He is rebounding, defending and moving like he is supposed to. I still think he's paid a little high, but at least he's doing the best he can to justify his contract.

On a side note: Matthews is well worth his contract. I'm becoming more and more impressed with his game so far!

Couldn't agree more. And wesley is a different player. If they can stay like this throughout te season we might sneak into the playoffs

Barring any injuries, if they keep this effort up playoffs are a very real possibility. The question becomes, should we play the rookies more for development, sacrifice some wins, and improve our draft position.

Thus far, Stotts has done a good job getting the rookies in the rotation. Heck last night it may have cost us the win having LMA and co out in the 4th.

As sly told me; we only have lotto pick protected. If we want the pick, then we must miss the playoffs. I just want to win, even if we lose the pick. I would love to see us make the playoffs if we can. If we are sitting low in the lotto standings, then play the rooks more so they can develop. If we have any shot at the playoffs; we should always play to win, IMO.
