On nba.com on the video section it had "kobe rips raptors again", anyone watched the game??? the game was no where near a blow out, and raps played all 4th quarter with their 2-3rd unit! please someone explain that to me... http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/8/31/195946/untitled.bmp
yes, because raptors are never given props for winning games, or when they blow out their opponents, i mean when bosh had his 30 + points games, nba.com had nothin on him, media coverage man, raps arent gtn notice, and are only noticed when they loose
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Bigkallday @ Mar 12 2008, 03:43 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>and are only noticed when they loose</div> well then they gotta tighten up their game! i crack myself up

and for the love of god, take that webpage link out of your signature, that is just AWFUL AWFUL stuff. dear lord. sweet baby jesus, i'm not even joking, that shit is super weak, why would you do that? if that's not a joke, god have mercy on us all.
Given our history with Kobe, they probably settled on that headline beforehand. Kobe got 34, but he wasn't the sole reason we lost. The Lakers just matched up well against us and had too many scoring options for us to defend. 5 of their players were in double figures and they got some good bench production last night.

Agreed, Parker, being our best defender (a very respectable one as well) couldn't even do anything to stop Kobe and his defence on him was nearly textbook.
ok just go on nba.com now, do you see ONE! thing about the raptors?? nope, they beat detroit and they get nothing, had detroit won it wouldev been like Billups or Rip Ripped through the raptors, doesnt dat piss anyone else off?
A lot of other teams won games tonight, you know. Some of those were even against teams with winning records!

The Lakers getting beat by the Bobcats (!) is WAY bigger than Raps over Detroit. And lastly, Dikembe getting honored + a Rockets win is way bigger than the Raps over Detroit. In fact, anything having to do with the top teams in the West is way bigger than anything happening to any of the teams in the East. I'm surprised the Celts over the Suns didn't get on the home page.

But please you gotta beat a media darling to get attention. Beat Boston, Lakers or Lebron and you will get a good headline.
Dude let it go. The team's barely above .500. There've certainly been times in the past where we've gotten snubbed unfairly, but this isn't one of them. This team hasn't deserved much media attention this year.
