Hi guys, long time lurker, first time postr here nd i have a problem nd im hopin that since nobody knowz me on here, you guys can help. I recently been talkin to this girl all day and all nite, txt durin day, talk durin nite and i rly lik her. ive seen her a couple of times when she came to my part of jersey (woodbridge) and she lives in Ewing which is close to trenton. she wants me to come there. i hav to go on train by myself. im not scard to go on a train by myself, this is, its new for me, ive only been on a train once b4 and i remember alot of it but still, im willin for her. i wna see her next saturday nd ive checkd the schedule nd if im rite, if i take the metro to the trenton transit center, it shud take about 50 min. then i hav to take a cab to her house which is about 10 min away from the trenton transit center. is it expensive to take the train nd cab? is it even worth it? i rly rly rly lik this girl, not love yet but i wna get to kno her.

is it confusing to take the train as well? im 17, BTW

I think they have the prices on NJTransits website for the train part of it. not too sure about the car part, but if it's not far, it shouldn't be too bad.

And by the way, welcome to the boards!

woodbridge to rahway is $1.25, rahway to trenton is $7.75. So the train part of it is $18 total, not too bad.

Thanx TodMachullouch11! You didnt have to check the prices but thanx for the effort! and Main Event, that is exactly what I intend to do.

Is it difficult to navigate around the train stations? Ive been to metro and Rahway but not to sure about either

Trains are pretty easy to navigate, for me at least. I think I can get to Yankee stadium by myself, though I've only taken the route 5 times.

    You should be fine.

shouldn't be too bad. I can't say I've been to the rahway station other then passing through it, but it's usually clearly marked which train is going to new york and which one isn't. And as long as you don't pass out and sleep through it, it's hard to miss your stop.

Thanks guys! I would have to say the main thing Im worried about is switching trains. I know I get off at Rahway first but how do I know which train is the one thats going to stop in trenton?

Ask the conductor. Every time I go on a train I make sure to ask the conductor if this train is going to stop at my destination.

doesn't look like it. it's two different lines, but they overlap a few stops.
