Re: I'm sick of the media.. I'm sick of NBA Analysts saying that the Heat are amazing for shutting down Dirk. Hell, Dirk took 20 shots, he just wasent making anything and he was fouled quite a bit. But the media is giving all the credit to the Heat now, when Dirk just had 1 or 2 off nights. It happens they need to get over it move on. Like the top story on ESPN is, " Heat cooling down Dirk and the Mavs" And i'm like whoopdi f*cking doo he had an off night. I just hate this, its making them look like the elite defensive team.

Right now, Haslem deserves the tag of 'Dirk-stopper' until Dirk breaks out. Obviously they are gonna favor star players over role ones.
Re: I'm sick of the media.. It's ridiculous that we get no credit no matter what happens. We lose, Mavs are going to sweep us and Dampier is all of a sudden a Shaq stopper. We win, no credit goes to our defense, things like "Dirk will score 50 in game 5". I have been waiting for that, his game 3 performance wasn't anything special either. When you miss alot of shots you normally make, you have to give some sort of credit to the defense because there obviously doing this right.This goes both ways though, I myself am tired of having to here stuff like "Dampier can stop Shaq". If Dirk can have bad nights, then it's only right Shaq can have bad nights right? I'm not going to say our defense has "stopped" Dirk, but it does have something to do with his poor performance. Right now, I just perceive Dirk as a choker until he proves me and everyone else wrong.

Re: I'm sick of the media.. The media will say something pro Heat, and then go pro Dallas on other things. They flip flop favorites all the time. You have to get used to it because it isn't going to stop anytime soon.

The whole spotlight went to LeBron when nobody even noticed that Arenas averaged the most PPG in the playoffs this year in only one playoff series. ESPN just makes me want to kill LeBron, even though he's probably one of the most polite and nicest players in the league.

I was really happy after Detroit beat the Cavs because finally the media would shut up about LeBron and how spectacular he was. Players don't listen to the media though, they just ignore what they say.
