i voted for Diawara and AI but I never even saw JR Smith start or i might have put that. However we do need some bench scoring and JR has provided that and some.

Smith is kind of nutty. Bringing him off the bench and letting him focus on scoring is probably a good strategy. I don't think you want volume shooters at three of your starting five positions.
It turns out this forum, compared with other forums, is higher ranked in terms of real activity and real interest in the Denver Nuggets than I thought. There are some forums out there where this poll is getting views but very few votes or responses, but I'm getting a decent number of votes here so far. So thanks for voting in this poll. To all those who think this poll is not important: it could not be more important than it is. Whether the Nuggets will go forward toward the West finals next year or start dropping back to being a 20-62 team, and whether the Andre Miller for Allen Iverson trade was a good trade or not, are just two of the many important things that are tied in with the question in this poll.

I watched the game the other night, where the Nuggets faced the Mavericks. And I have a few comments about things that I noticed in that game (which I've seen whenever watching the Nuggets play this season) relating to this topic: First, most of the time, when in the game, Iverson controlled the ball and the offense. Secondly, I could see the sense in JR coming off the bench. Why? Instant offense off the bench. Especially if Melo and/or Iverson aren't in. I mean, when those 2 are in, the scoring options are Iverson first, Melo second, Iverson third, Melo fourth, and then everyone else. Do you really think JR would get as many opportunities to score (which is pretty much all he's good for) with those 2 dominating the ball? Personally, I believe Carter does a fine job out there, and is the type of guy they need to fill that role of Iverson's backcourt mate. Of course, Blake was way better, but right now, Carter's all they got.
