Obama said McCain would be likely to appoint Supreme Court nominees who would allow states to outlaw abortion. "You're just one justice away from that," he said, alluding to the court's narrow ideological divisions. If i thought that was true, Id actually vote for McCain

If the baby came about through rape, or teen sex, the women should have the choice to abort within three months of conception.
I know rape is a difficult thing and Im all for the harshest penalties imaginable for rapists, but the baby shouldnt become the 2nd victim....ask yourself this, if you found out today that you were the product of a rape, would you want to vollunteer to kill yourself to take the burden off your mother? the baby should get his shot to live in my opinion....
It would depend on the status of my mother. If she was some hick who's life had been ruined because she had no support from the father, and lost her childhood, and I could go back in time, I'd consider. Killing the child when she's grown and interacted with her is completely different than killing a fetus. It would hurt her emotionally more than it would help.

Even if it's life would be completely terrible, and possibly resented by the mother? Is it worth ruining 2 lives, to save one?
That's true. I believe that abortion should be restricted to certain scenarios, such as, if a mother cannot support her child, the child is born into a bad scene. There is no point in arguing though, pro-life and pro-choice are a never ending battle in politics. I will always be pro-choice.
People overcome that scenario all the time....I think they should have a chance to rise above adveristy....but, I also believe in doing what I think its right even if it makes life hard, so i would be in the minority on many issues
Abortion is an issue that I can't take a side on. I lean towards pro-choice, but either way it doesn't bother me much. McCain has actually flip-flopped a few times on the repeal of Roe v. Wade, so I don't think this is a clear cut election issue.

It is, my proof. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"I think people need to be educated to the fact that marijuana is not a drug. Marijuana is an herb and a flower. It should be illegal for a married women with a comfortable lifestyle to abort just because she's "not ready to slow down yet". In a neighboring town, Manville, I think, there's a clinic where you can get an abortion, without anyone knowing (parents/guardians including). Now that is screwed up.
The real question is when should the line be made on how late a person can have an abortion: A) up to 1 month before leaving the womb? B) up to 1 week before leaving the womb? C) up to the baby leaving the womb? D) up to 1 week after leaving the womb? E) up to 1 month after leaving the womb?
But what if its a rapist that opens her legs for her? That's the major thing for me when I consider both sides of abortion.
