I think adding Dupree was a good move. Hassell didnt have the type of defensive stopper year in 04' that he had in 03'(and often got in foul trouble last year trying to deal with wings under the new defesive rules), so you need another wing on the roster that can cover the likes of McGrady, Ray Allen and some of the other 2/3's that the Wolves are going to face in the West.

My only question is couldnt the have sent Ebi down to the D-league...but anyway, I actually kind of give Mchale credit here..alot of GMs and VP's wouldnt have cut their losses like that..just as a method of saving face. But Mchale, pretty much admitted he/Wolves made a drafting error. and opened himself up to media backlash instead of wasting the teams time playing a kid that really wasnt built for this league and diffenately not the Wolves organization. When the Wolves, invested the money in Hassell and then drafted McCants this year it pretty much told the story in my opinion of what the Wolves felt about the kid. He might end up working out somewhere else (I doubt tho) but he wasnt going to make it with the Wolves. Credit goes to Mchale for cutting it short now, before more was wasted.

    So is Ndudi Ebi cut?

Dupree is a good player and he strikes me as a hard worker and defensive pest. Dupree could be real good one day and I think he's a great addition to Minnesota, but I dont think they should've cut Ndudi Ebi if they did..
