Yeah, an EFF = 42 game for a rookie is insane. Not to take anything away from Morrow, but earlier in the week. Beno Udrih scored a career high of 30 points against the Clippers. So, it's not like the Clippers backcourt are known for their lock-down defense.

Still, an impressive feat for Morrow - the highest scoring game ever by an undrafted rookie.

What's your point? An undrafted rookie going 37 and 11 on any team is very impressive.

Biedrins is a beast and I love the guy. But, GO is just way too strong.

It's unbelievable. Crazy. Hopefully, he doesn't do it against us.

I posted about this in the game thread and got shot down.

True, but impressive non the less. Undrafted rookie and first NBA start, flash in the pan, maybe, but impressive non the less.

It's funny: Nellie has a reputation of being hard on rookies, but it seems to be rookies that actually got drafted. Brandan Wright gets no minutes last year, that guy who's now with the Celtics, Richard Hendrix languishing on the pine (that one's not too surprising - second rounder, and COMPLETELY unsuited to Nellieball), Diogu, the list goes on. But if you're UNdrafted, he loves you! Matt Barnes, Kelenna Azubuike and now Morrow.

But then again, he can turn on you just as quickly. I hope Morrow doesn't take this as a sign he's going to get steady minutes...

According to the Colin Cowherd thread on this forum this kid is going to be better than anyone we have even seen in the NBA, yes folks, even better than dare I say it.....Greg Oden.

Still a nice game and I wish him will.

Biedrins is really quick - and until GO regains his quickness and stamina (which is about 2 months away, imho) - Biedrins is going to have some success on the offense against him (he will not have any chance of stopping him, of course, since GO is too big and strong for him).

In a couple of months - when GO is as quick as we have seen him in college...

It took one call from Stacey Augmon to get the maggots away from the bus. When it comes to gangs, Chris Mills isn't as connected as Plastic Man.

I was just talking about that Chris Mills fight in the showers tonight after my first game. A guy on the team that played against us used to be Mills' agent.

Was just looking at the Warriors' roster on their web page. Why is it that they can carry 16 players when other teams had to pare their rosters down prior to the start of the season? What "event" allowing for this exception to the rule happened that I missed?

    From Matt Steinmentz:
    http://www.examiner.com/a-1669459~Warriors_sign_F_Rob_Kurz.html
After the third game of the year (obviously Monta was suspended for those three games in addition to 27 more) the Warriors were granted another roster opening and signed Rob Kurz, who was their final cut from training camp.

Thanx Run BJM! I knew Ellis had been in the accident and was in the doghouse with talk of a suspension. But I didn't realize/wasn't aware of him being moved to make room for Kurz.
