I think it's quite obvious why we need an embassy in Iraq, especially one that is highly secure. I have to admit that it's embarassing that it is the only thing on schedule but a US embassy in Iraq is needed. If we are going to be active in Iraq for many, many years we will need am embassy where our politicans can be safe.
