<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">It's been a long time since the Orlando Magic have made this community feel like a million bucks. But they did it Tuesday -- figuratively, spiritually, literally. A million bucks; that's how much Magic owner Rich DeVos, wife Helen and the Orlando Magic thoughtfully and quietly contributed to the Hurricane Charley Relief Fund on Tuesday. There was no press release issued by the team. There was no mention of it on the Magic's Web site. There was no blaring, banner headline on the 6 o'clock news: MAGIC GIVE A MILLION DOLLARS!</div> Full Story The DeVos family has quietly done a wonderful thing for the community. Everyone is still suffering, and they have helped this situation by contributing to the relief funds.
Thats cool of them to do. Its sort of like what Jordan did donating his salary his last two years to victem families of 9/11 a lot of people in sports seem to donate money when something bad happens sometimes its good, but sometimes its just for publicity either way its good for the families.
Devos loves Orlando, I'm not surprised he did that remember he was going to sale Magic then he said no...
I gave a dollar today for those vitims(all I had ) and anything will help these familes out. Devos did a greatful thing with his money and is respected throughout all of Florida I'm sure.
