According to what I've read, San Diego has given David Boston permission to seek a trade. He is interested in coming to Miami and hooking up w/ Sullivan (current Miami WR coach) who used to be his coach in AZ is a bonus.

Boston may be a head case but is not totally off the reservation like Moss & Terrell.

Miami may be able to get him w/o giving up too much.

Let me know what y'all think.

I think that this would definatly benifit the DOLPHINS to get BOSTON depending on who the QB will be, I guess. Good luck though.[IMG]

Boston is an intresting option but with the depth in the draft why would you take a headache on. And I think he is worse than moss cus he doesn't play he is always nursing some little injury. At least moss plays....well the plays he wants to but still. Boston has upside but is a stange dude. Even stranger than Ricky and he seems to not get along with anyone. He started a fight with and injured player on his on team during the season. It's not like some training camp fight that rigth there just says no way to me. If Marty can't controll him then I don't know that Wanny can handle someone like him. But maybe he is just misunderstood. haha

If he doesn't want ridiculous money, I think it's a good trade. Especially since I think San Diego only wants a 3rd rounder for him. That would be worth the risk.

I think Boston's tune will change once he's part of a winning program like Miami's. Playing all those years in Arizona and now in San Diego...I don't think I'd be inspired to get up in the morning, much less play hurt. [IMG]

The only reason Miami would consider it is becuase Boston likes and respects WR's coach Jerry Sullivan....the 2 have a good history together, and its been reported that Boston himself has called Sullivan 4 times in the past week to encourage this trade....Under Sullivan, Boston had his best years(98catches/1598yds and 71catches/1156yds), so I think its worth the investment....spec out of Miami though is that they think the Chargers are planning to release Boston within 7 days anyway to avoid paying him the $3mil bonus he is due and they can wait and sign him for free....The Dolphins have always been a conservative franchise, not known for taking chances, but I think this is a risk they need to take, a happy, healthy David Boston is a major weapon in the league and playing along side Chambers and McMicheal, would give Feeley the weapons he needs to succeed(plus they could drive those safeties back for Ricky, a major need in Miami)....

And with FIEDLERS ears there's no way he comes out on the field without a helmet to be blown away.[IMG]
