the loss to the falcons hurt really bad...even though it didn't lose us much ground in the playoff hunt after the rams lost, it still was a blow...it was a well played game, but i have one question...does anyone think the refs were calling the game a little on the falcons side??? i know i am a panther fan, but when:

    a) muhammed gets hits out of bounds with no call
[IMG] vick gets hit inbounds going out of bounds and there goes the flag and 15 yards against us
c)morgan gets loose in their backfield and their lineman grabs morgan's arm and pulls it for at least 6 yards, in front of a striped one no less, and no call

i just got the feeling there were extremely incompetent refs calling the game...now in fairness, the taunting call on Jenkins was pretty lame...

    a) & [IMG] I see your point, I was thinking along the line of if they arent incompetent, then its because Vick is QB and they take those kinds of things a little more seriously when it comes to the QB but who knows.

Ya that call on Michael Jenkins for taunting was a brutal call, all he did was spin the football out of his hands and it happened to hit the Panther player laying on the field but however it bounced on the ground first then hit the player, I dont see how thats taunting...you're right lame call, so both teams had lame calls against them atleast since the refs were infact incompetent they still kept it even. I think anyway.

Refs seem to be against your team everytime your team loses. Just what you see and what the refs don't

i disagree...when we went 1-7, it wasn't the refs fault, it was our incompetence...and to my knowledge, the refs didn't give us any of the 5 consecutive wins, either...that was character in not giving up when the season looked lost...and if you read the other post i have in the carolina forum, you will notice that i clearly state that failure to stop vick on 4th down and the decision to sit on the ball with 1:37 to go in regulation were the reasons we lost....
