There have been skirmishes in the Kashmir Sikh area of India bordering Pakistan for decades...and they both have nukes...scary cold war there. My son's best friends mom was born in that area...she's in her late 50s and said it's been like that as long as she can remember
The press here gives so little coverage to those issues...Jakarta as well in Indonesia...the Muslims there killed about 50, ooo Chinese businessmen and their wives and children in the 90s...that story didn't even make the front page here. Taiwan had a national day of mourning when that happened. Ethnic cleansing bullshit
I have a close friend who's sister visited Kashmir shortly before it turned hot. That must have been around 30 years ago. By the way, hobbesarrable used to work in mainland China and speaks some Chinese. I have yet to meet any Caucasian-American that speaks any Korean, with the exception of me and my brother-in-law married to my sister-in-law.
