Alright Pacer fans, since everyone has this thing going then I might as well just start one for you. So here's how this works: someone writes a question about the Pacers and someone else either answers Fact (True) or Fiction (False) and then creates another question. So here's my question. Are the Pacers going to win their division next season?
Fact. They easily won the east last year, and probably would've beaten Detroit in the playoffs if everyone was healthy. Fact or Fiction - Jermaine O'neal is named MVP in the next three years.
Fact. He's too good a player and too good a contributer to his team to not be. If KG can get it, O'Neal can too. Fact or Fiction: The Pacers will win a championship within 5 years.
Fiction, the Pacers will be losing Reggie before that, and he's a huge part of their team. That will probably move Fred Jones to sg, and he's inexperienced. It's sad, but this was their last year with a chance. They could content with the Pistions, and now they have to deal with Miami as well. They wont even come out of the east within the next 5 years. Fact or Fiction: A Ron Artest for Peja trade would benefit the Pacers.
Fact. Peja is too nice a shoter to pass up on. Artest hustles and goes for the loose balls and plays good defense (but IMO not good enough for Defensive Player of the Year). Peja would definitely benefit the Pacers and I'm pretty sure it would make O'Neal happier. Although I doubt Peja would look good in a Pacers uniform. Fact or Fiction: Fred Jones will win the Dunk Contest again
Fiction: He wouldn't have won it this year had Jason Richardson made any of the dunks that he missed. Fact or Fiction: Jamaal Tinsley will be an All-Star at some point in his career.
Fiction - Tinsley will never be an All Star. Lots of Pacer fans like him but everyone else under rates him. Will he be good enough to be an All Star? Yes! Will NBA fans and officials let him? No Fact or Fiction - Would the Pacers have won last year if they didn't have to give up Brad Miller for Scot Pollard?
