Enough said. Perk really needs to step up tonight by banging with these guys on the glass, outmuscling them, and playing tough. Also, he needs to be a presence around the basket on the defensive end against a team like this. They have a lot of talent, and they have a lot of guys that cause havoc around the basket. Key Matchup
vs. Jermaine O'Neal vs. Al Jefferson
Jermaine O'Neal is obviously one of the best big men in the league, on both ends, and Al Jefferson is a young Jermaine O'Neal in a lot of ways. Both of these guys are excellent scorers, both are good rebounders, both are quick for a PF/C, and both can block shots. JO does everything a little bit better at this point, but it will still be an interesting matchup to watch. CelticBalla's Extra Thoughts/Notes I like the Pacers, they are a scary team when healthy and on top of their game. JO is a top 5-7 PF in the NBA and he can dominate both ends. That will be a big problem for us, and what makes it worse is that we don't have Paul Pierce. CelticBalla's Prediction I see us losing this one as well. Indiana is just the better basketball team. They are good defensively in the post and they are very tough around the basket. They have a lot of offensive firepower as well with JO/Harrington/Jack/Granger/Tinsley/Saras. It's going to be a really tough matchup for us without The Truth.

But I believe O'Neal is gonna be out with an ankle sprain.
I looked to make sure, he played 30+ minutes last night. So, I assume he's a go for tonight as well.

*** NEWS ***
- Wally Szczerbiak will be out for 1-2 weeks (knees and ankles). - Delonte West will miss at least 2 games with his back injury. - Perk and Big Al will start together tonight. Woo hoo!
Should be interesting, I hope AL can continue to be really affective on the boards even with Perk in the lineup.Tough about Delonte, I love watching him play, he has the worst luck with injuries
I am pumped. Nice write-up there CelticBalla. I hope we can bring our good team, not our bad one. You never know which Pacers team will come.
Great, grat first quarter by Tony Allen. He's being super aggressive on both ends, really looking like, well, an all-star out there.I would like to see Al get more involved, but I don't blame him for not being so active against Jermaine O'Neal. We're in a great situation right now. Up two without Pierce, Wally, or Delonte. Never could've seen us in theis position. Now if we could just put a clamp on Tinsley. Jeez..
Tinsley stinks. He cannot do squat. At the half we actually have 50 points! That's like a record for us. Too bad we're losing. We can't play any defense. Jermaine is in foul trouble. He can't knock down a single shot. Our bench is the only thing keeping us in the game. We have a billion offensive-rebounds though. WTF is up with Boston's frontcourt rebounding?

He seriously is the worst player that nobody notices. Except for me.

Tinsley is going off on us, haha Mike was right though.. he just looks bored all the time. Same thoughts about Al. I remember maybe once or twice max they tried to get the ball to him. They need to go to him more. But it didn't bother me that much because a lot of guys were playing well. Bassy played REAL well. Got to the bucket very effectively. Same with Rondo, and HOLY sh*t TONY ALLEN I LOVE THIS KID. Gerald had a great half, with a nice little battle with Jackson there at the end. Gerald hit over Jackson, Jackson hits over Gerald, Jackson is all over Gerald on D, fouls him like twice, uncalled obviously, then Gerald wets one in his face. I love it. I can live with another half like this, they played very well.
