One player who is waiting to hear word on his future is Chicago Bulls forward Carlos Boozer. After not being amnestied for the past three years, it’s looking more and more like Chicago will use this summer to cut him loose — but it’s far from a certain thing to happen.

According to Mitch Lawrence of the New York Daily News, the Indiana Pacers very much have interest in Carlos Boozer and could pursue him if he ends up getting amnestied by the Chicago Bulls.

Indiana is among the teams that definitely have interest in bringing in Carlos Boozer if he’s waived by the Bulls via the amnesty provision.

With the addition of Pau Gasol and the pending contract that Nikola Mirotic has, the Bulls need to try and free up cap space and cutting Boozer loose is the easiest way to accomplish that. Should it happen, and Chicago is resisting doing so, the Pacers might not be a bad fit for Boozer as he can help the team out and can be an assets that at the very least is kept away from another contender.
